Roadsend is a tower defense game for Android made by Sykeep-AI (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information when you play Roadsend. Questions: contact@sykeep-ai.com.

In short
- We do not collect personal data. Roadsend has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no in-app purchases and no analytics or tracking tools of ours, and we run no servers for the game. You can play without an internet connection.
- Your progress stays on your device, plus an optional Android backup in your own Google account.
- The Unity engine, which the game is built with, sends Unity Technologies a small anonymous report about your device’s hardware. It is described below.
- Google Play handles installs and updates and, if you allow it, crash reports. Google’s privacy policy covers that.
What the game stores on your device
To save your game, Roadsend stores on your phone or tablet:
- your progress: the stars and crowns you earned in each battle, the last battle you played, the upgrades you bought in the War Room, the hero you picked and the looks you chose, and which story scenes and map roads you have already seen;
- which tutorials and tips you have already seen;
- your settings, such as sound and music volume, graphics quality, larger text, reduced flashing and camera shake;
- an unfinished battle, so you can continue it later (a save file that is deleted when the battle ends).
This information contains nothing that identifies you. It stays in the game’s private storage, which other apps can’t read, and we never see it. Uninstalling Roadsend, or clearing its storage in your device settings, deletes it.
Backups to your Google account (Android Auto Backup)
If backup is turned on for your device, Android may copy Roadsend’s progress and settings (not the unfinished battle) into your Google account, so they come back when you reinstall the game or move to a new device.
- Android makes and stores this backup, not us, and we cannot read it.
- On Android 9 and later, with a screen lock set, the backup is end-to-end encrypted with your screen lock.
- You can turn backup off in your device’s settings (for example Settings › System › Backup; the path varies by device) and manage your backups in your Google account.

The Unity engine
Roadsend is made with the Unity engine by Unity Technologies. When the game starts with an internet connection, the engine may send Unity a report about the device’s hardware and software: for example the device model, the operating system version, the processor, graphics chip, memory and screen size, and the game’s name and version. Like any internet connection, it reaches Unity from your IP address, and Unity’s policy says such reports can include a device or installation identifier. Unity uses them to understand which hardware its engine runs on. We do not receive them, and they do not include your name, your contacts or anything you do in the game. We have turned off Unity’s crash and diagnostics reporting, Unity Analytics and Unity Ads in Roadsend.
Crash and performance reports (Google Play)
If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Android and Google Play may collect technical information when Roadsend crashes, freezes or runs slowly: the device model, the Android version, the game’s version and details of the error.
- Google collects this, not Roadsend. Google shows it to us in the Google Play Console, and we use it only to find and fix problems.
- It does not include your name, email address or contacts.
- You can change this in your device’s settings (for example Google › Usage & diagnostics).
Downloads and updates
Google Play downloads, installs and updates Roadsend, including the game’s data pack, under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Google account details.
If you write to us
If you email contact@sykeep-ai.com, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to improve the game, we don’t share it, and we delete it on request.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or share personal information.
Children
Roadsend is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Security, retention and deletion
- Security: we keep no player data on any server, so none can leak from us. Your progress stays on your device and in your own Google backup.
- Retention: we keep no player data. Google keeps crash reports in the Play Console for a period it sets; we don’t copy them elsewhere. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer them.
- Deletion: to delete your game data, uninstall Roadsend or clear its storage; to delete the backup, remove it from your Google account’s backups. To have an email to us deleted, write to contact@sykeep-ai.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Because we don’t collect or hold personal data about you as a player, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. If you have a question or a concern, write to us and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If a new version of the game changes what happens to your information, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
